Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Keifer Sutherland, and I am happy to turn the other way to the many moral shortcomings of 24's Jack Bauer in the name of entertainment. But every time I hear those Bank of America commercials narrated by Keifer Sutherland, I have to wonder how an ad agency/Bank of America didn't consider the above comment, or just let it go.
Because as a consumer, nothing makes me feel better than knowing my bank, with whom I have entrusted my money, has paid an actor who plays a character who tortures EVERYONE (including his brother in one of 24's past season openers) to represent them amongst the mainstream public.
Ok, that's not really a legitimate issue, Jack Bauer is just a character, and Keifer Sutherland does have a rich soothing voice...mmm.
